My Project Tool Box- these are items I have found handy when working on small projects. I keep everything in an old tackle box for easy grab and go.
1. Hot glue gun-quick easy repair projects and extra glue sticks
2. Super Glue
3. E505- glue that adheres to most anything, used mostly on porcelain, glass, and ceramics.
4. Foam Paint brush -1 inch width-mostly for painting
5. Tooth picks -I use these to spread glue, and clean out gunked up containers, also prevent things from touching.
6. Flat Head Screwdriver
7. Phillips Screwdriver
8. Sand paper- low grade to smooth rough edges of things
9. Straight Pins-keeping things together , pinning down fabric in projects
10. Zip Strips-for bundling and organizing cords
11. Safety Pins-various sizes
12. Clothes Pins-used to hold things together while gluing, and much more.
13. Couple nails and screws
14. Tape measure
15. Small hammer
16. Ruler-for straight edge and small measurements
17. Calculator
18. Pencil with good eraser
19. Permanent marker-labeling purposes
20. Wood colored markers-for touch ups
21. Mole skin-I use this to adhere to cabinets so when they close I can avoid the loud banning noise when it closes. I also use these on back of things I am hanging on the wall to protect my walls.
22. Needle and invisible thread- for quick repairs.
23. Scissors and small box cutter
24. Differentiated labels, adhesive and non-adhesive (I save large scrapes form scrap booking for labels)
25. 2 different colors of sticky notes-used for temporary labels, and reminders, writing down measurements, and leaving notes.
26. Modge Podge-used as a coating when gluing collages and other things
27. An old make up brush-I use this for removing dust and cleaning wood surfaces
28. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser fantastic for cleaning for various surfaces
29. Sticky Magnetic Strips- nice for quick fixes
30. Painters tape
31. Everyday primer- good for coating when you have to paint
